Six items, including a carbon copy of the playscript, "House of Eternal Darkness," photocopy of clippings and programs for the three campuses on which the play was presented, photocopy of poems which appeared in "New Voices", a review of those poems, and photocopies of photographs taken during the Dillard University production. Also photocopies of a booklet, "The Felton family Tree." Haleemon Felton was a teacher, actress and playwrite. The plot of "House of eternal darkness" revolves around the family of protagonist Kathleen Marshall, a stern, domineering mother of three children with a background "haunted by insanity". The happiness of the younger daughter Madge, becomes the obsession of the whole family. This 3 act play premiered at Dillard University (02-14-1941).
